We are seeking an experienced Streets Scheme Designer with a background in streets design and case-making for our UK-based team (London, Manchester, or Leeds). This role offers the opportunity to grow your career and influence the future of urban streets.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Setting the vision for Deansgate in Manchester, a key part of the City Centre Access Strategy.
  • Developing external urban realm proposals as part of the restoration and renewal of the Houses of Parliament.
  • Creating feasibility designs for Quality Bus Transit in Salford, Rochdale, and Bury, along with supporting business cases.
  • Designing Liveable Neighbourhood schemes and preparing business cases for projects in Hackney, Camden, and Ealing.

The work involves diverse skills such as active travel & bus priority design, traffic modelling, stakeholder engagement, GIS analysis, and project management. Candidates should have a mix of technical expertise and understanding of societal, economic, and political contexts related to transport. We are looking for a Senior / Principal Consultant who can manage project teams, collaborate with senior leaders, and contribute to high-profile urban streets projects for clients like Transport for London and local authorities.
