Steer’s Feasibility Design practice is looking to expand its traffic modelling offer by recruiting a modeller into our London-based team to deliver a broad portfolio of projects. The skilled person will lead the development of microsimulation and local traffic models, provide technical expertise and advice to clients and colleagues, and support the growth of the business. We will support your growth and development in modelling or analysis depending on your preferences, with a personal supervisor and technical guidance to help your career flourish.
Our Feasibility Design team collaborates to help clients deliver high‑profile transport and development projects across the UK and overseas, including multi‑modal highway schemes, liveable neighbourhoods, Wembley Stadium event‑cap mitigation, Canary Wharf development, and active travel/cycle corridors in London and Manchester. Models you produce feed into the development of sustainable, multi‑modal highways; awareness of such design considerations is an advantage. You may support projects such as bus priority and cycle improvement schemes from feasibility through detailed design, and provide analysis for mixed‑use developments on factors such as pedestrian comfort, servicing capacity, and traffic management requirements.
