3.5 Ton Delivery Driver in Wednesbury

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 3.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury, this role will be 5 days on 3 days off 12pm - 9pm You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning. A DBS check will be required for this role. The duties of the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver include: * Driving a 3.5 ton vehicle on a daily basis * Working with a drivers mate * Delivering customers orders to their homes and offices * Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role * Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time * Following a delivery route, which is pre planned for you * Pre calling customers before arrival * Filling in paperwork as and when required * Removing all packaging from each delivery The ideal 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have: * Experience within a similar role * A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points * The ability to handle heavy goods * A clean DBS The hours of work for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 12pm – 9pm. The salary for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £13.63 per hour,. Any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half
