Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for Drivers Mates, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Cardiff.
You will be supporting the drivers with delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, route plans are put together for your daily.
This role will be on an ADOC basis, to cover the needs of the business, supporting with high volume and sickness cove
A DBS check will be required for this role.
The duties of the Drivers Mate includes
- Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
- Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
- Making every customer encounter memorable. Yes, you will need to love supporting the driver and being on the road, but you will need to love helping customers too.
- Following a delivery route
- Pre calling customers before arrival
- Filling in paperwork as and when required
- Removing all packaging from each delivery
The ideal Drivers Mate will have
