Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury. This role is initially for 4 weeks with the potential of it being extended after that. The working hours for the Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be Monday - Friday 5.30pm - 9.30pm.
You will be delivering customers' orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries. Route plans are put together for your daily deliveries, and your vehicle is pre-loaded each morning. A DBS check will be required for this role.
The duties of the Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:
- Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
- Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
- Following a delivery route
- Pre-calling customers before arrival
- Filling in paperwork as and when required
- Removing all packaging from each delivery
The ideal Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:
- Experience within a similar role
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- The ability to handle heavy goods
- A clean DBS
The salary for the Part Time 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £13.63 per hour.
