About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician to join our team at Komoo in Wigan. You’ll work on a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models, ensuring precision repairs and top-tier finishes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation – Cleaning, sanding, and masking for optimal paint application.
  • Paint Mixing & Application – Using spray guns and other equipment to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Spray Booth Operation – Maintaining and operating the booth for high-quality results.
  • Panel & MET Work – Experience in these areas is beneficial.
  • Quality Control – Ensuring all work meets customer and industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration – Working closely with colleagues to meet deadlines.
  • Health & Safety Compliance – Keeping a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

About You:

  • Experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician, Prep Technician, or similar role.
  • Panel & MET experience is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with electric & hybrid vehicles is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and spray equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team.
  • ATA/NVQ qualifications preferred but not required – we offer support for renewal if needed.
