At Steer Automotive Group, we are looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual to train as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) within our growing accident repair network. This is a genuine career opportunity with structured development, mentoring and long-term progression.
About the Role
- Accurately assess vehicle damage
- Prepare professional repair estimates using industry systems
- Liaise with technicians, insurers and customers
- Ensure repairs are cost-effective and compliant with manufacturer standards
- Support workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
You will work closely with experienced Assessors and Bodyshop Managers while completing structured training towards industry accreditation.
Who We’re Looking For
You may not have estimating experience yet — that’s absolutely fine. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in the motor trade (Service Advisor, Parts, Warranty, Workshop Admin etc.)
- Has strong attention to detail
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Takes ownership and acts with integrity
- Is confident using systems and software
- Is eager to learn and build a long-term career
