We are looking for a skilled and motivated Parts Advisor to join our specialist team. As a Parts Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the right parts are sourced, ordered and available at the right time to keep repairs moving efficiently and deliver a first-class customer experience. You'll work closely with our Workshop, VDA and front-of-house teams, while developing strong relationships with suppliers to ensure excellent service and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, order and manage parts efficiently, ensuring availability, competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Build effective supplier relationships and proactively manage shortages, delays, backorders, returns and discrepancies.
• Check parts received for accuracy, quality and damage, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, credits and stock movements while supporting effective stock control.
• Work closely with Technicians, Workshop Controllers and VDA teams to prioritise parts requirements and minimise repair delays.
• Maintain a safe, secure and organised parts environment, complying with company procedures, Health & Safety and industry standards.

What You'll Need

• Strong understanding of parts ordering, stock control and inventory management.
• Good knowledge of workshop operations and how parts availability impacts repair timescales.
• Good IT and systems skills, including email, web-based systems and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and process information efficiently.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Previous experience in an automotive parts, motor trade, accident repair or commercial vehicle environment is desirable.
