About the Role
As an MET Technician, you will play a key role in restoring accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards. Working within a modern, well-equipped bodyshop, you'll use the latest tools, technology, and repair methods to ensure every vehicle leaves the workshop in exceptional condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantle and reassemble vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs in line with manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to the highest standards
- Collaborate with panel technicians, paint technicians, and workshop teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment

About You
To be successful in this MET Technician role, you will have:
- Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip and Fit Technician, or Vehicle Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- A positive, professional attitude and strong team-working skills
