The Role:

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you’ll be at the centre of the repair process, ensuring damaged commercial vehicles are assessed accurately and efficiently so they can be returned to the road safely and quickly. You’ll assess a wide range of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) across all manufacturers, body types, and builds, using Audatex to produce precise and professional estimates. You’ll work closely with workshop teams, insurers, engineers, and customers – playing a key role in keeping repairs moving smoothly and delivering an excellent customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out detailed damage assessments on a wide range of commercial vehicles
  • Producing accurate, high-quality repair estimates using Audatex
  • Working closely with workshop teams to plan and progress repairs efficiently
  • Liaising confidently with insurers, engineers, and customers to agree authorisations
  • Ensuring all documentation and estimates are completed accurately and on time
  • Playing a key role in delivering a smooth, professional repair journey

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (ATA or NVQ/IMI qualified preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of LCV and/or HGV vehicles (training available where needed)
  • Confident user of Audatex estimating systems
  • High attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving workshop environment
  • A genuine commitment to quality and continuous improvement
