Overview
As a Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET) Technician, you’ll play a vital role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition with precision, safety, and care. From diagnostics and mechanical repairs to complex refits, your skills will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all MET-related tasks including diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, and component removal/refit
- Follow manufacturer-approved repair methods to ensure accurate and safe repairs
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to assess faults and plan repairs
- Collaborate with Bodyshop and Paint teams to ensure workflow efficiency and repair quality
- Maintain compliance with all safety, HSE, and quality standards
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and professional
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally within a prestige or accident repair environment
- Solid understanding of modern vehicle systems, diagnostics, and mechanical/electrical repairs
- ATA accreditation preferred, or a willingness to achieve it (training provided)
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
