About the Role

As a Panel Technician, you’ll carry out high-quality structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards. You’ll work within a professional bodyshop environment using the latest repair methods, tools, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Replace, repair, and align vehicle panels to manufacturer specifications
  • Complete repairs using approved accident repair methods and techniques
  • Use welding equipment including MIG/MAG welding systems
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
  • Work efficiently to productivity targets while maintaining excellent workmanship
  • Collaborate with painters, MET technicians, estimators, and workshop teams
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
  • Experience with MIG/MAG welding and structural repair work
  • ATA accreditation or equivalent qualifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
