About the Role
As a Panel Technician, you’ll carry out high-quality structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards. You’ll work within a professional bodyshop environment using the latest repair methods, tools, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Replace, repair, and align vehicle panels to manufacturer specifications
- Complete repairs using approved accident repair methods and techniques
- Use welding equipment including MIG/MAG welding systems
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
- Work efficiently to productivity targets while maintaining excellent workmanship
- Collaborate with painters, MET technicians, estimators, and workshop teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
- Experience with MIG/MAG welding and structural repair work
- ATA accreditation or equivalent qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
