We are looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organised Customer Service Advisor to join our busy automotive repair centre in Darlington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, administration, reception, or customer support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers professionally both in person and over the phone
- Manage repair bookings and customer appointments
- Provide customers with updates on vehicle repairs and progress
- Coordinate vehicle handovers and collections
- Liaise with technicians, insurers, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate customer records and administration systems
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the repair journey
About You:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, Receptionist, Administrator, or similar customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a busy office environment
- Good IT and administrative skills
- A positive attitude and passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Automotive industry experience is beneficial but not essential
