The Role

As a Panel Technician / MET Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out high-quality panel repairs and replacing damaged body panels.

  • Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) components.

  • Completing vehicle body repairs, chassis alignment, and structural repairs.

  • Welding and repairing damaged vehicle panels using approved repair methods.

  • Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.

  • Working efficiently to achieve productivity targets while maintaining exceptional workmanship.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

About You

We're looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering first-class repairs.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Panel Technician, MET Technician, Bodyshop Technician, Vehicle Body Repair Technician, Vehicle Panel Beater, or Accident Repair Technician.

  • Strong knowledge of panel beating, welding, MET stripping and fitting, structural repairs, and vehicle body repair techniques.

  • Experience working within a bodyshop, accident repair centre, or vehicle repair environment.

  • ATA accreditation (preferred but not essential).

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
