Are you passionate about delivering first-class customer service? Steer Automotive Group is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join our front-of-house team in Leicester.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a key role in ensuring their experience with us is seamless, supportive, and stress-free. Whether arranging bookings, handling enquiries, or updating systems, your positive approach will set the tone for the entire repair journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full customer experience from first contact to vehicle return
  • Book appointments, arrange collections/returns, and keep customers informed
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls and email enquiries professionally
  • Maintain accurate records on internal systems and external portals
  • Assist in managing complaints and delivering timely resolutions
  • Help with logistics and occasionally move vehicles on-site
  • Meet individual and team performance targets and customer satisfaction goals
About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (automotive experience a bonus)
  • Strong communication skills — verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • A proactive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office experience preferred)
  • A friendly, team-oriented approach and a can-do mindset

A good local knowledge of Leicester and surrounding areas for transport logistics is also helpful.
