We have an exciting opportunity for a Silicone Technician to join our existing team at our London Prosthetics Centre in Chessington. Our service includes the option of custom high definition silicone cosmeses for upper and lower limbs. Custom‑made, lifelike silicone cosmeses are created to bespoke specifications by our highly skilled technicians on‑site. Careful assessment of the skin’s colour and texture is carried out for each client to ensure the perfect match. Even skin pigmentation, freckles, veins, hair and tattoos can be incorporated to give an authentic and personalised finish, whilst our unique electronic colour matching process delivers a near‑perfect match to individual skin shades.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will have an eye for sculpting, and experience in silicone sculpting.
  • You will undertake the manufacture of silicone, cosmetic prosthesis and associated products in accordance with the specification laid down by the prosthetist and component manufacturer.
  • You will hand‑make silicone cosmeses from start to finish, adding fine details and making the silicone lifelike and ensuring that they are ready for fitting and delivery.
