We have an exciting opportunity for an Export and Customer Service Administrator to join our existing team at our Head Office in Stourton, Leeds.
The Role: In this role you will carry out duties to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Customer Services department. This is carried out in line with the departmental processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage export shipments including processing export documentation according to LC requirements
- Manage LC Drawdown documents
- Create commercial invoices and packing lists
- Complete any additional documentation required for export shipments including the generation of certificates of Origin and other Embassy documents as required
- Have a full understanding of country specific requirements including documentation requirements by country: legislation processes and charges etc
- Proactively monitoring End to End delivery
- Daily management of the back-order report from X3
- Regular contact with Sales Managers, Branches and internal customers for updates on order and stock progress.
- Inputting orders for Prosthetic Products as per procedures
- Build positive relationships with internal and external customers which facilitate open communication of successes and problems and hence continuity of business
- Other duties as required
What we are looking for:
- Experience in Import/Export is essential
- Experience of Processing Chamber of Commerce and Embassy documents as required.
- Experience in dealing with Export Licenses
- Knowledge of Sanction restrictions advantageous but ongoing training will be given
- Experience in Microsoft office suite is essential
- Experience with Sage X3 advantageous but not essential as training will be given
- Knowledge of Incoterms and letters of credit
- DG trained in Lithium Batteries – advantageous but not mandatory as training will be given
