The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a motivated team player to join our company as an Administrator working within our Hull Branch. This role is based on a 30-hour working week, over 5 days (Monday – Friday).

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Match NHS orders with work charts and update systems to produce invoices for services provided.
  • Raising patient orders and ensuring parts arrive on time.
  • Organise postal deliveries and collections as necessary.
  • Work with the Branch Manager to raise stock orders and book stock in and out of the system as required.
  • Arrange warranty repairs and credits for warranty parts in line with Steeper and supplier procedures.
  • Produce reports from the system to meet the requests of corporate support and your Branch Manager.
  • Update patient data on Steeper systems in line with GDPR.
  • Daily use of financial databases, Excel, Word, and other databases.
  • Collate information for end-of-month reports and figures.
  • Keep filing systems up to date and ensure paperwork is correct for audits.
  • Liaise with Prosthetists and Technicians, Head Office and other branches.
  • Answer the phone in a pleasant and courteous manner.
  • Deal with any enquiries from Steeper staff, customers, suppliers or the public quickly and efficiently.
  • Produce petty cash reports, filing and carry out other admin duties as necessary.

You will need excellent attention to detail, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Sage X3 and Word plus a willingness to get involved in various roles around a busy office.
