To be responsible for the artwork of Steelite International’s marketing material and to provide design work for projects as directed by the Snr Graphic Designer & Marketing Manager, working within existing corporate brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application of the brand(s).
Adaptability, creativity and a proactive approach are key to flourishing in this fast-paced office environment, where you will be expected to have an eye for style, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously, as a team and independently. Effective communication is a must in both understanding customer requirements and conveying ideas.
The technical skills required to succeed include: proficiency with InDesign, strong skills and confidence using the Adobe Creative Suite, being comfortable with working in both print and digital formats, desirable (but not required) knowledge of EasyCatalog, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Principle Accountabilities
- Adhere to corporate brand guidelines
- Design and create literature and periodic trends pieces to support markets as required.
- Have a good understanding of print and be able to take a job through to print ready artwork.
- Design and create presentations and media for sales and other departments of the business.
- Create social media and web graphics to deliver a consistent corporate online presence.
- Handle image requests that come into the department.
- Manage content on distributor and marketing portals (ie. Dropbox) ensuring it is up to date with new product introductions and rationalisation.
- Create graphical video content as required.
- When required, travel with the Marketing department to trade shows, helping with setup, knockdown, and any other requirements as fit.
