To place glazed/decorated ware onto the kiln and empty fired ware. In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Cranking or placing ware onto kiln batts as appropriate
- Ensure ware is loaded correctly i.e. stacked at appropriate height, not touching
- Empty ware from kiln and place onto boards for next process
- Removal of pitchers and refractory waste
- To comply with all Health and Safety Regulations and Company policies and to ensure at all times that the work area is clean, tidy and safe.
Hours:
- Days: Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm; Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm
- Noons: Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm; Friday: 1:00pm - 8:00pm
- Nights: Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:00am; Friday: 8:00pm - 3:00am
