Purpose
To be responsible for the artwork of Steelite International’s marketing material and to provide design work for projects as directed by the Snr Graphic Designer & Marketing Manager, working within existing corporate brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application of the brand(s).
Adaptability, creativity and a proactive approach are key to flourishing in this fast-paced office environment, where you will be expected to have an eye for style, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously, as a team and independently.
Effective communication is a must in both understanding customer requirements and conveying ideas.
The technical skills required to succeed include: proficiency with In Design, strong skills and confidence using the Adobe Creative Suite, being comfortable with working in both print and digital formats, desirable (but not required) knowledge of Easy Catalog, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Principle Accountabilities
- Adhere to corporate brand guidelines
- Design and create literature and periodic trends pieces to support markets as required.
- Have a good understanding of print and be able to take a job through to print ready artwork.
- Design and create presentations and media for sales and other departments of the business.
- Create social media and web graphics to deliver a consistent corporate online presence.
- Handle image requests that come into the department.
- Manage content on distributor and marketing portals (ie. Dropbox) ensuring it is up to date with new product introductions and rationalisation.
- Create graphical video content as required.
- When required, travel with the Marketing department to trade shows, helping with setup, knockdown, and any other requirements as fit.
