SteelEye is a fast moving RegTech (Regulatory Technology) start-up that is helping financial companies (e.g. banks, investment firms, brokers, hedge funds, and asset managers) meet their obligations under various global financial regulations. Our work enhances financial compliance, prevents market abuse, and promotes trust in the financial markets. Our people are passionate about leveraging data and technology to make this happen.

We’re hiring an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of customers. This role is focused on renewals and expansion, and over time will play an increasing role in driving product adoption. Joining SteelEye means becoming part of an ambitious, high-performance London GTM team where accountability, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking are valued. You’ll gain exposure to regulated market dynamics across EMEA, refine enterprise selling capabilities within complex buying groups, and contribute directly to the company’s continued expansion in global financial markets.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Own the full new-business sales cycle for Mid-Market accounts across EMEA, from first meeting to close.
  • Own a portfolio of mid-market customer relationships, acting as a trusted commercial point of contact.
  • Lead renewal planning and execution to deliver strong renewal rates.
  • Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise commercial value.
  • Prepare and manage pre-agreed commercial terms for renewals and expansions.
  • Coordinate closely with Implementation and Product teams to support customer outcomes and long-term value.
  • Maintain strong account plans, stakeholder maps, and engagement cadence.
  • Track account activity, pipeline, and customer information accurately in HubSpot.
  • Proactively manage risks to retention and expansion, escalating where needed, while acting as a key point of contact for any outstanding client issues or challenges and coordinating across SteelEye teams to ensure timely support and resolution.
  • Support (over time) initiatives that improve product adoption across accounts.
  • Travel occasionally to support customer meetings and relationship building.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years quota-carrying B2B software account management experience. Able to demonstrate consultative, value based selling and strong discovery skills. Experience with multiple stakeholders.
  • HubSpot experience required.
  • Exposure to financial services clients is highly desirable.
  • Interest in RegTech is desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a mainly office-based London role.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional travel.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation capability (renewals and expansion focus).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; confident presenting to senior audiences.
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline/portfolio management discipline.
  • Collaborative working style with cross-functional teams (Implementation/Product).
  • Data-informed approach to prioritisation and opportunity identification.

WHY THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU:

You’ll join the team at a high-growth moment, with an expanding customer base and a clear opportunity to maximise commercial value. You’ll take ownership of renewals and expansion across a mid-market portfolio, working closely with Implementation and Product to help customers realise value and drive stronger product adoption. If you enjoy combining relationship management with commercial impact, this role offers a direct line of sight to meaningful outcomes and the chance to grow with the business.

Joining us means becoming part of an ambitious, high-performance London GTM team where accountability, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking are valued. You’ll gain exposure to regulated market dynamics across EMEA, refine enterprise selling capabilities within complex buying groups, and contribute directly to the company’s continued expansion in global financial markets.
