Steele Charles are delighted to be retained once again in representing a long-established UK rotary aviation operator to recruit a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer for their engineering facility at Boscombe Down. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-equipped engineering environment supporting line and base maintenance on a modern rotary fleet. The role would suit an experienced B2 engineer looking for long-term security, high engineering standards, and ongoing professional development.

The Role

  • Certifying avionics and electrical maintenance within B2 scope
  • Line and base maintenance on rotary aircraft
  • Interpreting and applying aircraft technical documentation
  • Liaising with flight crews to accurately diagnose and record defects
  • Ensuring compliance with CAA / EASA and Part 145 requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement and high safety standards

About You

  • Hold a B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
  • Have recent, relevant experience (rotary experience ideal)
  • Fixed-wing B2 engineers open to transitioning to rotary are welcome
  • Strong knowledge of avionics, electrical systems, and fault-finding
  • Eligible to work and live in the UK
  • Able to obtain UK security clearance
