Steele Charles are delighted to have been engaged by a leading name in the rotary aviation sector, for an experienced B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their team at their Kent facility. Key Requirements:
Preference for valid UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License with at least one of the following type ratings, although applicable type training available for the right candidate:
- AW169
- AW109
- AW139
Right to work in the UK (sponsorship may be considered for exceptional candidates)
Key Responsibilities:
- Certify aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with company authorisations and regulatory approvals
- Conduct both line and base maintenance at the client’s primary facility and remote locations, as operational needs dictate
- Carry out all maintenance activities to the highest standards, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulatory and internal procedures
- Provide timely and accurate engineering updates to senior maintenance leadership
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless operational performance
- Supervise and support engineering and technical staff to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements including those set by the CAA, EASA, and other relevant authorities
- Stay up to date with required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with company and industry expectations
- Take responsibility for the planning and execution of maintenance tasks within your remit
- Utilise Microsoft-based software and digital systems to document, track, and report maintenance activities
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
- Additional holiday between Boxing Day and New Year’s
