We are looking for a skilled Fabricator/ Welder to join our workshop in Langford (North Somerset). This is hands-on fabrication work using mild steel and stainless steel, building sub-assemblies through to full projects. The work is varied, practical, and done to a clear standard. We care about good fit, clean work, and doing things properly. We don’t rush jobs just to say they’re finished.
The kind of work you’ll be doing:
- Fabrication and welding (TIG / MIG)
- Sheet metal and box section work
- Building sub-assemblies and complete units
- Working from technical drawings
- Finishing work ready for paint / powder coat
- Keeping your workstation organised and safe
You’ll be trusted to manage your work and hit targets without constant supervision.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years fabrication experience (5+ ideal)
- Confidence in reading and working from drawings
- Care about fit, finish, and doing a job properly
- Work efficiently without cutting corners
- Take pride in a tidy, safe workstation
- Turn up on time and crack on with the work
We value reliability and attitude as much as skill.
Nice to have (not essential):
- Cutting, drilling, tapping, grinding
- Brake press or machining experience
- Forklift licence
Hours & setup:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
- Overtime available
