We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Steelwork Draughtsman to join our client’s well-established and highly successful steelwork engineering business. This office-based role offers job security, a competitive salary, and the chance to work in a friendly and supportive environment on a diverse range of bespoke architectural steelwork projects such as stairs and balustrades.
The Role:
- Create detailed 3D models of architectural steelwork projects using AutoCAD and Advance Steel (training may be provided on Advance Steel).
- Produce accurate fabrication drawings, installation/erection drawings, and bills of material.
- Raise RFIs/TQs to resolve technical queries and ensure project accuracy.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman working on steelwork or architectural metalwork projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Familiarity with Advance Steel is advantageous, though training can be provided for candidates with relevant steelwork experience.
- Resides in, or within commuting distance of, Dudley—this is an office-based role.
- Reliable and seeking a long-term PAYE position.
