SCI was born out of passion for video games and boxing, with the ambition to create an authentic and exciting boxing game that does justice to the sport we love. What started as a fun prototype has grown into ‘Undisputed’, the first major boxing video game in over a decade. The Role
As an Associate Producer at Steel City Interactive Ltd, you will help oversee and coordinate game development across multiple disciplines. Working closely with Producers, you will support scheduling, task tracking, communication flow, and milestone delivery. This role requires strong organisational skills, proactive problem-solving, and a passion for supporting teams to deliver high‑quality game content.
Responsibilities
- Assist Producers in planning, tracking, and coordinating development tasks across departments.
- Help maintain detailed schedules, sprint boards, feature breakdowns, and project documentation.
- Support daily communication between design, art, programming, QA, and external partners.
- Update project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Notion) with task status and notes.
- Facilitate stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings.
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies while escalating concerns to Producers.
- Ensure teams have the resources, documentation, and information needed to work efficiently.
- Help organise internal reviews, milestone submissions, and delivery checklists.
- Support build management, asset handoffs, and version tracking workflows.
- Coordinate with QA to schedule testing, track bug priorities, and monitor fixes.
- Assist with reporting project health, KPIs, and progress updates for leadership.
- Contribute to maintaining positive team culture and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production, coordination, project support, or similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Notion, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work across multiple tasks and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding of game development workflows and pipelines.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable
- Experience working in a game development studio or creative production environment.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
