Would you like to be part of a dedicated team that prides itself on quality and excellence? We are currently looking for a Production Technician to join our busy team in Ashchurch, Gloucestershire.

Hours of Work: 07:00 – 17:00, Monday to Thursday, temporary (fixed term contract with potential to become permanent)

The Role

As a Production Technician, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities that play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations. You will be involved in the assembly and testing of electrical and computer-based components, maintaining precise records and effectively communicating any technical issues. You will work meticulously on mechanical assembly and ensure that all processes align with high-quality standards. Your attention to detail will be paramount as you help uphold the customer-centric ethos of our business. Moreover, you\’ll collaborate with an enthusiastic team, performing various duties in different areas as directed by the business.

What we are looking for from you:

  1. Understanding of computer hardware components.
  2. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications.
  3. A high level of manual dexterity required.
  4. Must be reasonably fit and able as the role may involve a physical element.

Useful Additional Experience

  1. Experience of cable assembly, harnessing and looms.
  2. Soldering experience to J-STD level.
  3. Awareness or certification in IPC standards IPC-610 and IPC-620.
  4. Good understanding of mechanical assembly and Standards.
