We’re seeking an experienced HR professional to deliver a high‑quality, proactive HR advisory service across the organisation, supporting managers and staff with complex employee relations, change management, and strategic HR initiatives. Please note that this role will be subject to a level of Security Clearance. As such, factors including your nationality, previous nationalities that you may have held, and your place of birth may affect your eligibility to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Change Management: Lead and support organisational change (e.g., restructures, growth, new systems). Work with leaders to plan and implement change, ensuring smooth transitions. Coach and influence managers to handle change effectively and manage teams. Assess and improve readiness for change and adoption of new ways of working. Support organisational design and restructuring activities. Help maintain performance, engagement, and culture during change.
  • Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations cases, especially those linked to change. Communicate clearly with employees to keep them informed and engaged. Liaise with Occupational Health and legal advisors as needed.
  • Talent Acquisition: Support the business with Talent Acquisition processes as required. Oversee onboarding and induction processes. Support the adoption of early learning and development initiatives.
  • HR Policy & Compliance: Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure all activities are legally compliant and low risk. Advise managers on employment law changes.
  • HR Projects & Strategy: Contribute to the delivery of the People Strategy. Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as the business grows. Lead or support HR initiatives such as performance management, diversity & inclusion, and wellbeing.
  • Training & Development: Deliver workshops and briefings on HR topics. Support leadership development programmes.
  • HR Operations & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records and systems. Prepare payroll data and manage benefits administration. Provide HR metrics and insights to inform decision‑making.

Key Skills & Experience

  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Able to approach change sensitively and diplomatically, supporting others through transition and maintaining engagement.
  • Proven experience in handling complex employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
