Overview
Steatite is looking for a meticulous and motivated Quality Inspector to join our Ashchurch site in Tewkesbury In this role, you will ensure that our products meet both customer and company quality standards before dispatch, playing a key part in maintaining the excellence of our manufacturing processes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Carry out visual inspections during and at the end of the manufacturing process
- Identify non-conformances and maintain accurate inspection records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
- Flexibly assist other areas of the business as required
- Interpret engineering drawings and follow work instructions accurately
About You
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, or calibration environments
- Skilled in using measuring and test equipment, with a basic understanding of electronics
- Knowledge of IPC Class 3 standards for soldering and crimping is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support different areas of the business
- Curious, proactive, and always seeking more efficient ways of working
- Motivated to learn and develop, taking pride in delivering high-quality results
