About the Role
As a Production Technician, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities that play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations. You will be involved in the assembly and testing of electrical and computer-based components, maintaining precise records and effectively communicating any technical issues. You will work meticulously on mechanical assembly and ensure that all processes align with high-quality standards. Your attention to detail will be paramount as you help uphold the customer‑centric ethos of our business. Moreover, you’ll collaborate with an enthusiastic team, performing various duties in different areas as directed by the business.
Hours of Work: 4 days – 07:00 – 17:00, Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of computer hardware components.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications.
- A high level of manual dexterity required.
- Must be reasonably fit and able as the role may involve a physical element.
- Soldering experience should be to J – Standard level.
- Awareness or certification in IPC 620 standards.
Qualifications
- Experience of cable assembly, harnessing and looms.
- Soldering experience to J-STD level.
- Awareness or certification in IPC standards IPC-610 and IPC-620.
- Good understanding of mechanical assembly and Standards.
Required Skills
