OverviewSteamship Mutual is a P&I insurance company, with 240 employees worldwide. The main office is based near Liverpool Street station, London. We have offices in Bermuda, Brazil, Cyprus, Greece, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore.
Overall Job Purpose : To carry out and monitor screening checks within the organisation and to assist the Operational Support Team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure screening/sanctions checks are conducted in a timely manner with all reports filed on the appropriate file
Refer any problems/questions to the Operational Support Team Leader
Any potential High/Medium risks to be referred to Legal for Further Investigation
Maintain referral spreadsheets
Person Specification
Previous administrative experience or knowledge of KYC operational support preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels, both written and orally
Flexible team player and ability to work on own initiative but sufficient judgement to know when to refer to Manager
Good self-motivation, proactive outlook in setting and prioritising work and meeting deadlines
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
