- The Able Seaman is responsible to the Officer of the Watch for;
Maintaining a proper lookout by sight and hearing, and reporting as such to the OOW.
- The Steering of the ship when required by the OOW, Master or Pilot.
Maintaining regular patrols of the cargo spaces as required.
- General Bridge duties as required by the OOW or Master.
Any other duties as required.
- In Port the Able Seaman is responsible to the Officer of the Watch for;
- The keeping of a fire, security and safety watch - as required
- The tending of means of access and moorings - as required
- Assisting with cargo operations as required by the OOW and / or Chief Officer
- STCW certificates
- Must have UK right to work
