Steam Motion and Sound is a leading production company trusted by some of the world's biggest theatrical productions, artists and live events. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join our core post-production team. This is a hands-on creative leadership role. You will play a central part in developing visual concepts from client briefs, creating outstanding motion graphics, and helping guide the work of other designers to ensure the highest creative standards across the team.
Our projects span everything from television commercials and marketing campaigns to feature-length concert films and live event content seen by audiences around the world. What You'll Do
- Develop creative treatments and visual concepts from client briefs.
- Design and animate high-quality motion graphics for a wide range of projects.
- Lead by example as a senior member of the graphics team.
- Mentor and support other motion designers.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Present and communicate creative ideas clearly and confidently.
- Translate client objectives into meaningful and effective visual communication.
About You
You are an experienced motion designer with excellent creative instincts and strong technical skills. You can:
- Take an idea from a rough sketch to a polished final production.
- Balance multiple projects without compromising quality.
- Think creatively under pressure and solve problems quickly.
- Understand client goals and transform them into compelling visual stories.
- Provide constructive feedback and help develop the skills of others.

Skills & Experience
- Significant professional experience in motion graphics design.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of design, typography, animation and visual storytelling.
- Experience with Cinema 4D and related 3D workflows is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Studio or agency experience preferred.
