  • Cybersecurity Execution & Compliance: Own the on-the-ground execution of The Company’s security and regulatory commitments (MiCA, DORA, SOC 2). Foster a 'controls-by-design' engineering culture while respecting regulated divisional information walls.
  • Talent, Budget & Scale: Manage the global engineering budget, vendor relationships, and M&A engineering integrations. Mentor divisional VPs, refine career frameworks, and scale the team across Europe and the US.
  • Scale Operational Leadership: Proven ability to design and run engineering operating models (metrics, governance, delivery) for global teams.
  • Technical Depth & Decision-Making: Comfortable challenging senior architects on system design and making decisive, firm-wide trade-offs under constraints. Expert at translating high-level security strategies into practical, everyday engineering workflows and compliance outcomes.

Proven track record running global engineering across multiple business lines, including executing large-scale platform consolidations and managing shared data/infra functions. Experience operating within strict regulatory frameworks (MiCA, DORA, SOC 2) and managing engineering across compliance-driven information walls. Prior experience as a trusted senior deputy or operational partner to a technical founder or CTO, taking true ownership of execution while strategy is held by the principal. Experience scaling engineering organizations through rapid maturity phases and integrating acquired technical teams.
