We are looking for a highly organised, resourceful and proactive Founder’s Associate to work directly with our founder and CEO at an early-stage stealth startup in environmental sensing and clean energy.
This is a broad, hands-on role spanning operations, procurement, founder support, administration and company-building projects. You might be coordinating suppliers and deliveries one day, improving an internal workflow the next, or helping move forward a key business or technical project.
You should be comfortable working in a technical environment, learning quickly and following technical discussions well enough to coordinate effectively and make the right decisions. A technical, engineering or scientific background would be a significant advantage.
The role could be particularly well suited to someone who wants to learn how an early-stage startup is built by being directly involved in the day-to-day work, gaining practical experience across different parts of the business.
What you’ll do
- Manage purchasing, suppliers, deliveries and operational records.
- Help the founder stay on top of priorities, meetings, follow-ups and key communications.
- Support invoices, expenses, budgets and company administration.
- Research products, tools, suppliers and potential solutions.
- Coordinate with technical and non-technical team members on projects.
- Improve internal processes and identify opportunities to streamline or automate repetitive work.
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects and help solve problems across the business.
What we’re looking for
You’re likely to be someone who:
- Is exceptionally organised and follows through reliably.

- Has good judgement and knows when to act independently or ask for input.
- Is genuinely curious about technology and enjoys understanding how things work.
- Can follow technical discussions and research unfamiliar technical topics at a practical level.
- Communicates clearly and professionally.
- Is confident with spreadsheets, productivity tools and modern software.
- Can be trusted with sensitive company information.
Experience in startups, operations, procurement, project coordination or executive support is useful. A background in engineering, science, software or another technical field would be highly advantageous, but is not required.
We care most about initiative, judgement, organisation, curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
You’ll work directly with the founder, gain broad exposure across the business, take on real responsibility and have the opportunity to shape your role as the company grows.
The role is initially offered on a three-month fixed-term basis, with the potential to move into a longer-term position depending on performance, mutual fit and the company’s requirements.
