We’re looking for a talented Midweight Designer to support us on an ongoing freelance basis. Our core brand identity, product UI and visual language are already established. The opportunity is to use design to make personal finances feel calmer, clearer and more human by creating a premium experience that gives couples confidence in the life they’re building together. The work should do more than look beautiful; it should help reshape people’s relationship with money, turning something that often feels stressful or transactional into something positive, reassuring and motivating.
This role is not about creating a new brand from scratch. Instead, you’ll be responsible for translating an existing identity into consistently high-quality creative across social, digital and campaign touch points. Initially, we expect the requirement to be approximately 2–4 hours per week, with a regular flow of small briefs and the opportunity for the scope of the role to increase as the company grows.
Your work will include:
- Designing social media content across static posts, carousels and Stories
- Creating campaign and acquisition creative
- Bringing existing product UI into engaging consumer-facing content
- Developing creative for partnerships, creators and influencer campaigns
- Working with campaign photography and existing brand assets
- Creating occasional print, marketing and brand collateral
- Ensuring a consistent visual standard across everything we put into the world
We will provide clear briefs, copy, brand guidelines, existing design assets, product screens and photography.
What we're looking for:
- Has experience working at midweight designer level
- Has a strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout and visual judgement
- Has experience designing for consumer, lifestyle or digital brands
- Can confidently work within an established visual identity
- Understands how to communicate product propositions simply and visually
- Can balance functional information with warm, emotionally engaging creative
- Has strong attention to detail and a high bar for design quality
- Is comfortable working independently and turning around relatively small briefs efficiently
- Is reliable and interested in developing an ongoing working relationship rather than completing a single project
Experience within fintech or financial services is not required. We’re particularly interested in designers who have worked with modern consumer brands and understand how to create work that feels premium, human and emotionally relevant, rather than traditionally corporate.
How to apply: Your portfolio, your hourly or day rate. We’re looking to start working with someone as soon as possible.
