Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy to penetrate SME and mid-tier audit firms in the UK and beyond.
- Build repeatable sales processes for SaaS engagements priced per audit cycle.
- Market Development: Identify and prioritize target firms, decision makers (partners, audit directors), and industry associations.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Lead design partner conversations, shape pilot agreements, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with partners and directors at audit firms.
- Ensure smooth handoff from sales to onboarding and customer success.
- Revenue Ownership: Drive ARR growth and establish pricing models aligned with value delivered (e.g., per engagement).
- Forecast sales pipeline, track KPIs, and report results to the board.
- Establish a sales culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and client focus.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 8–12+ years in B2B SaaS sales with at least 3 years at VP/Head of Sales or higher.
- Proven track record of selling into professional services (audit, accounting, consulting, legal, tax) or financial SaaS to mid-market clients.
- Experience negotiating contracts with partners/directors of professional firms.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation ability.
- Deep understanding of professional services sales cycles (relationship-driven, trust-based, multi-stakeholder).
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, packaging, and ARR forecasting.
- Ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
- Familiarity with audit/accounting standards (IFRS/ISA) is a strong differentiator.
