Are you a power electronics engineer drawn to the potential of early-stage innovation? We are a stealth-mode startup developing next-gen energy storage systems. We are looking for someone ready to tackle complex, high-power challenges from the ground up.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and prototype advanced power conversion systems for single and three-phase LV grid applications.
  • Optimise efficiency in multi-kW power electronics, balancing thermal management, reliability, and cost.
  • Collaborate on rapid iterations: from calculations, simulation, circuit capture, layout, prototype build to hardware testing.
  • Troubleshoot real-world issues that demand problem-solving and hands-on experimentation.

What We're Looking For:

  • (Required) Proven experience in power electronics design, including PFC and isolated high-power DC/DC.
  • (Ideal) Practical experience of topologies like LLC, DAB, or similar, with expertise in magnetics, semiconductors (SiC/GaN), and control algorithms.
  • (Required) Comfortable turning concepts into hardware using tools like Altium, LTSpice, and MATLAB/Simulink.
  • (Required) A mindset geared toward the uncertainty of a still-evolving product roadmap.
  • (Required) Typically 3+ years in power electronics design, but more interested in what you've worked on and problems you've solved.

This role is within a small, driven team where your contributions will directly shape our trajectory. If you're motivated by the prospect of building cutting-edge tech that could redefine energy storage solutions, and you're unfazed by the ambiguity of stealth mode, let's connect.

Location: Swindon, UK (on site) -- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. Reasonable adjustments can be made during the recruitment process.
