Geography Content Reviewer & Visual-Design Coordinator
(GCSE & A-Level)
Contract: Freelance / self-employed, outside IR35
Hours: 20 hrs per week (set your own schedule)
Rate: Β£25 per hour
Timeline: project can finish at the end of summer 2025 or roll on into the 2025-26 academic year-your choice.
Mission
There are two main responsibilities: 1) review existing written GCSE & A-Level Geography content and align to exam board specifications. 2) Identify the most useful visual content (diagrams, charts, maps, infographics to bring the content to life) for each learning step and work, provide an example to our graphic-design studio to create it, and then label/annotate.
What you\βll do
- Curriculum QA β validate coverage, sequence and wording against AQA, Edexcel, OCR & Eduqas specs.
- Edit for Flow & Precision β refine text so that each lesson segment stands alone yet links logically.
- Graphic Briefing β decide which visuals add most value for each segment
- Stakeholder Sync β join one 30-min weekly video meeting. Coordinate over email with the graphic designers / provide feedback on graphics.
Must-have profile
- UK-qualified Geography teacher (PGCE + QTS or equivalent).
- 3+ years teaching experience
- Recent KS4 and/or KS5 classroom or examiner experience.
- Interest and confidence in technology
- Strong written-editing skills and an eye for visual pedagogy.
