I'm currently looking for a Lead Scala Developer to join a high-profile Government/Public Sector programme on an Outside IR35 contract basis.

Key Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Scala
- Proven experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers
- Expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with:
- Akka/Pekko
- Play Framework
- RESTful APIs
- AWS or cloud-native environments
- CI/CD pipelines
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
- Previous Government/Public Sector experience
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies

- Active or previously held SC Clearance
