We are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a government digital delivery team. You will design simple, accessible, user-centred interactions that help citizens complete tasks efficiently and confidently. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will shape end-to-end user journeys, create intuitive interfaces, and ensure services meet the GDS Service Standard and accessibility requirements.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience designing digital interactions for user-centred services.
  • Proven ability to work with the GOV.UK Design System and deliver services aligned to the GDS Service Standard.
  • Skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows using modern design tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
