My client is a global leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption, Digital Architecture/Transformation & NextGen AI Solutions, with over 20+ office locations across the UK, offering a hybrid working model of 2 days onsite/3 days remote + ad hoc client site travel (Midlands or Sussex).
We are looking for multiple Java Software Engineers (ranging from Mid to Senior to Tech Lead) to join a dynamic team building solutions for a public sector client, building critical digital services from end-to-end working on a variety of projects featuring high-performance cloud platforms using Java based languages and technologies, and on-premise traditional infrastructure.
Pay Range:
- Mid level budget: £55k - £65k + full benefits + hybrid working
- Snr level budget: £70k - £80k + full benefits + hybrid working
- Tech Lead budget: £85k - £95k + disc bonus + full benefits + hybrid working
Primary Requirements:
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance
- Extensive experience of building microservices with Java (Spring Boot)
- Open-source integration frameworks
- TDD, Unit testing and automated integration testing
- Experience of building RESTful APIs in Spring Boot
- Experience of building loosely coupled synchronous and asynchronous microservices
- Experience working in an Agile team environment
- To be applicable for the Technical Lead grade, you will require proven experience managing a team of Java Engineers, including line management, mentoring & training responsibilities
- Spring JPA, AOP, Transactions, SQL and NoSQL databases, containers and container management platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes is desirable
- Experience of Cloud based infrastructure is desirable, along with an understanding of application security principles, continuous integration and continuous delivery
Must be eligible for SC Clearance and please note, visa sponsorship is not available.
