We are partnering with a leading IT consultancy in search of experienced Digital Trust & Security Senior Consultants and Managing Consultants for permanent positions. These roles offer the flexibility of remote work with occasional travel, providing an excellent work-life balance. The competitive salary ranges from £70,000 to £88,000 per annum, complemented by additional benefits and a discretionary bonus. Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance. Please note, sponsorship is not available for these positions.

The Digital Trust & Security (DT&S) practice is dedicated to ensuring secure business outcomes for clients through Cybersecurity advisory and transformation consulting. Our focus areas include security strategy, risk management, human risk management, data and identity security, secure intelligent industry, Gen-AI risk, and security operations modernization. We are seeking experienced professionals with expertise in Cybersecurity to help integrate security culture and practices. Depending on experience, candidates should be comfortable navigating ambiguity with a business-oriented approach while applying business analysis, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. You may serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in the team or manage a workstream of consultants and client staff.

We are looking to grow our diverse team at the Senior/Managing Consultant level with individuals who have demonstrated expertise in one (or both) of the following domains:

  • Generative AI – Enabling secure design and adoption of Gen AI for business, IT, and security functions while adhering to evolving regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, DPA 2018).
  • Security Architecture – Enhancing the security posture of the enterprise and applications through assessment, design, or implementation of secure architectural patterns aligned with industry standards (e.g., CIS L1/2, NIST, ISO27001, COBIT).
  • Operational Technology – Ensuring the security of critical infrastructure aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST SP 800-82, CAF, DPA 2018).
  • Operational Resilience – Shaping and transforming operational resilience capabilities in compliance with leading regulatory standards (e.g., DORA, Bank of England, FCA, NIST).
  • Cybersecurity Operating Model Transformation – Assessing, designing, and implementing outcome-focused security operating models.

As an experienced consultant, you will help guide the direction of the practice, contribute to business growth, model values and behaviours, and coach junior team members. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in client projects that transform Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Operational Resilience capabilities to reduce business and technology risks.
  • Providing strategic and organizational insights in areas like security strategy definition and high-level operating model design, helping influence senior stakeholders for top-down buy-in.
  • Leading security maturity assessments and developing new strategies for managing emerging risks in Cloud and agile/DevSecOps environments.
  • Collaborating with clients in business, IT, and security to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Working with teams and stakeholders to deliver security strategy, governance, security testing, identity & access management (IAM), security architecture, privacy, and cyber data analytics.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in one or more Cybersecurity domains, such as Security & Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Engineering, Communications & Network Security, Identity & Access Management, Security Education and Awareness, Security Assessment & Testing, Security Operations, or Software Development Security.
  • Experience with SOC teams, OT Security, Security Operating Model Transformation, and Cybersecurity Assessments is desired.
  • Familiarity with key Cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS Critical Controls, NIS2, DORA, FCA, Bank of England).
  • Relevant Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).
  • Proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organization, working collaboratively with peers to deliver consulting solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and delivering Cybersecurity projects.
  • SC clearance or eligibility is preferred.
