Content Designer – Remote/UK – Β£400 Per Day Outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Content Designer to join a government digital delivery team. You will create clear, accessible, user-centred content that helps people understand and use public services. Working closely with designers, researchers, product teams, and policy colleagues, you will ensure content meets user needs, aligns with the GDS Service Standard , and follows the GOV.UK Design System and style guidelines.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience writing and designing content for digital services.
  • Proven ability to work with the GOV.UK Design System and deliver services aligned to the GDS Service Standard.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain content decisions clearly.
  • Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of user-centred design, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to interpret research insights and data to inform content decisions.
