A leading global Cloud Software client are looking to onboard an experienced Business Development Manager to continue supporting the growth of the internal product and services. The ideal candidate will come from a Cloud based Financial/Document Management software business development background, but we can consider candidates from a Cloud Software industry that are open to transfer into this industry.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the full lifecycle of the process, so would be responsible from generating leads to onboarding of the client.
Key skills:- Demonstratable background in Business Development for Cloud Based Financial/Document Management clients
- Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Proven background in full lifecycle of new business and sales
- Skills/knowledge in preparing professional responses to RFI, RFP, RFQ and tenders
- Valid driving licence and able to travel around the U.K and overseas as/when required (Limited travel in U.K and abroad)
- Identify and investigate new business opportunities by turning leads into qualified prospects
- Produce compelling proposals and presentations and conduct impactful demonstrations that showcase the value of the product and services to prospective customers
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact to onboarding the client
- Upsell to current and potential customers
The successful candidate must be willing and able to be based onsite at least three days a week and be able to travel to client sites around the U.K and overseas as/when required.
