The Role
As a User Researcher, you’ll be central to uncovering the needs and behaviours of end-users and ensuring digital services are designed with them in mind. You’ll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver actionable insights that shape inclusive and effective user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead research activities throughout the project lifecycle — from discovery to implementation
- Choose and apply the most effective research techniques (e.g., interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies) based on the context
- Generate and present insights that support evidence-based decision-making in agile delivery teams
- Engage with stakeholders to align research goals with user and business needs
- Facilitate workshops and synthesis sessions to promote empathy and user understanding within delivery teams
- Analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to inform product or service improvements
- Work closely with other researchers, designers, product owners, and developers
- Champion user-centred practices across the organisation and help embed research into delivery processes
