Role Overview
Seeking an experienced AWS API Technical Architect to design secure, scalable API and microservices solutions across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design serverless and microservices architectures on AWS
- Define REST API standards and integration patterns
- Support system/data integration across distributed services
- Assess technical debt and recommend modernisation approaches
- Work with product, delivery, and security teams on solution design and deployment
- Design secure integrations with identity providers and access controls
Key Skills
- Strong API and microservices architecture experience
- AWS expertise, including services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, Aurora/Postgres, Route 53, and VPC
- Kubernetes and CI/CD knowledge (GitHub/Jenkins)
- Monitoring/security tooling experience beneficial (CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, Security Hub, GuardDuty)
- Prior Public Sector industry experience is essential
