Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade monitoring and observability solutions across complex technology environments. The role focuses on improving service visibility, performance insight, and proactive incident detection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end observability solutions across enterprise platforms
  • Translate NFRs and monitoring requirements into Dynatrace configurations
  • Deliver APM, log analytics, synthetic monitoring, and infrastructure observability
  • Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and performance visualisations
  • Integrate observability into architecture, development, and delivery processes
  • Support proactive incident management and service reliability improvements
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and delivery teams across technical and non-technical groups
  • Drive continuous improvement in monitoring maturity across teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in SRE principles and methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of APM tooling and enterprise observability
  • Experience with logs, metrics, synthetics, and distributed system monitoring
  • Ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working in complex, enterprise-scale environments

Desirable

  • Dynatrace Associate Certification
  • Experience working in immature or evolving observability environments
  • Exposure to large-scale transformation or cloud-native systems
