We are seeking an experienced Data Governance & QA Lead to support a cyber security-focused data programme. The role will involve working across a modern Data Lakehouse environment, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and reliability across end-to-end data pipelines. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role working closely with technical and business stakeholders to define and deliver robust QA and data governance practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and manage end-to-end QA and testing strategies
  • Work across Data Lakehouse architecture environments
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across data pipelines
  • Create and maintain manual and automated regression test suites
  • Define and implement data quality frameworks and best practices
  • Analyse business requirements and translate into test scripts
  • Produce QA artefacts including test strategies, plans, roadmaps, and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to building and improving test frameworks from scratch

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of data management and full testing lifecycle
  • Experience with Data Lakehouse architectures
  • Strong QA/testing background (manual and automated)
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to define and execute test strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in cybersecurity or highly secure environments
  • DV Clearance or eligibility to obtain DV Clearance
